Process Controls Experience
PENTA Engineering has extensive experience in many areas of the chemical process industry (CPI) including commodity chemicals, batch specialty chemicals, fine chemicals, dyes/pigments, polymers/resins, synthetic fibers, and pulp and paper. PENTA has provided technical, design, engineering, operational, and construction contract administration services on numerous projects for clients such as BASF, Celanese, Rhodia, Clariant Corporation, Cognis Corporation, Noveon, Chemtura, Mead Westvaco, Cytec, and Bowater, as well as many others.
These projects have ranged from technical studies, to small plant maintenance projects, to plant retrofits and revamps, to providing complete engineering, procurement, and construction contract administration for grassroots plants. Our projects have included organic and inorganic chemical production; batch specialty chemicals including polyols, textile chemicals, and dyes; polymers and fibers; infrastructure and utilities projects; and environmental projects such as wastewater treatment, scrubbers, and oxidizers.
